Single row deep groove ball bearing
Single row deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used bearing type. Provide closed (with seal or dust cover) or open design. Open bearings can also be installed with seals or dust caps, and there are generally grooves on the side of the inner ring
SKF inch bearings in the EE(B), RLS and RMS series are used as after-sales service items. Therefore, SKF recommends not to use these bearings for new bearing configuration designs.
Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings
Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings can resist corrosion caused by moisture and other media. Provide closed (with seal or dust cover) or open design. Open bearings can also be equipped with seals or dust caps, and there are generally grooves on the side of the inner ring
The load carrying capacity of these bearings is lower than that of high chromium steel bearings of the same size.
Single row deep groove ball bearing with a ball slot
A single row deep groove ball bearing with a filling gap has a filling gap on the inner ring and the outer ring, which is used to load more steel balls than standard deep groove ball bearings.
The radial load carrying capacity of the bearing with the ball notch is greater than that of the bearing without the ball notch, but its axial load capacity is limited. They also cannot reach the high speed of a bearing without a ball slot.
There are two designs of deep groove ball bearings with ball slots: open or with a dust cover on one or both sides. In addition, they can be with or without stop grooves. Open bearings can also be equipped with a dust cover with a stop groove on the outer ring
Double row deep groove ball bearings
Double row deep groove ball bearings are very suitable for use in bearing arrangements where the load carrying capacity of single row deep groove ball bearings is insufficient. For double row deep groove ball bearings with the same outer and inner diameters as single row deep groove ball bearings, the width is slightly larger, but the load capacity is much higher than that of the 62 and 63 series single row deep groove ball bearings.
There is only one design for double row deep groove ball bearings: open (without seals or dust caps).
Cage
SKF double row deep groove ball bearings are equipped with two cassettes, steel ball guided glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 cage (designation suffix TN9).
When used at high temperatures, some lubricants may have an adverse effect on the nylon cage
